Water Anyone?
How does an individual maintain good health? Hydration is essential for a well-balanced body. On average, drinking eight-eight ounce glasses of water per day is a good rule. Experts agree that soda and coffee is not a daily replacement for water. Sure, sports drinks such as Gatorade will improve body function but water is essential and best. (You may disagree but beer is not a sports drink). Cell and organ functions depend heavily on water for functioning. The key is knowing your own body. If you are an athlete, eight-eight ounces of water daily may not be enough to replenish your body. Some of the signs of dehydration include a dry mouth, dry-itchy skin, headaches, dizziness, fatigue and diminished concentration. Benefits of good hydration include good brain functionality and improved muscular and cellular functionality. Great health starts with great hydration; so drink more H20!.
