Knowing that most college students are pressed for cash and might be looking for new cheap laptops, I thought I’d post an article I saw on the Cnet reviews. They had a New York Time’s article recently about cheap laptops with a set of reviews of a couple of cheap laptops at the bottom. They also have it set up in columns to do side by side comparisons. I hope at least one person out there finds this article useful.

The good news is that today's average-performing systems are often powerful enough to give you what you need to surf the Web, spit out some e-mail, and watch a movie or two.
